About us


Dr Leong Chan-Hoong is a Senior Fellow at the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies, Nanyang Technological University. He is also an elected board member and Fellow of the International Academy for Intercultural Research, where he chairs the Rae and Dan Landis Outstanding Dissertation Award. An avid explorer and traveller, he enjoys long walks that lead to nowhere.       





Dr Angeline Lim is an advocator of social empathy.  Her research and teaching focuses on diversity and inclusion, community leadership and interpersonal relationships in the workplace. She is passionate about using research to create a positive social impact.



Angelica Ang Ting Yi graduated from the National University of Singapore, majoring in Life Sciences and Public Health. Her academic interests lie in the health and environmental sciences, spanning an eclectic mix of topics such as conservation, environmental virology, and healthcare policy. In her free time, she enjoys kicking back with a good arthouse film in cinemas.



Samihah Safeel is a documentary researcher at Channel News Asia. She is a recent political science graduate from the National University of Singapore, with a minor in Community Development and Leadership. When she’s not hunting for stories for the next new documentary, she cycles, reads books or catches up on her long list of shows to watch.



Avery Ng is a recent graduate from the National University in Singapore, majoring in Political Science. Her book shelf at home is filled with quality content on political economy, social issues, cooking and food science, as well as some classic young adult dystopian fiction. She also plays the trombone in her free time.


Illustrator

Yix (Guo Yi Xian) is an edu-creator who tells stories with words and pictures. She is a writer of visuals and an illustrator of words. Her published works include The Book That Was Handed Down (2007), Happily Ever After Is So Once Upon a Time (2012), and My School Uniform (2016). She currently teaches Advertising at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA). Yix sees life with fresh perspectives by flipping upside down on a handstand.
